During Easter holiday in 2007 MaYaa and I took a trip to a destination we have been wanting to visit for a very long time: California, especially San Francisco. Again, we flew through Atlanta, the best place if you have to switch planes, my favourite airport. We hired a car in SF, spent the weekend in town and then headed to Yosemite NP. Spent 2 days there, drove back to the coast again and took the famous scenic route US Highway No.1 all along to Los Angeles (here's our route). Wherever we could we spent the night in our tent and sleeping bags.
