My story: I was born 1976 in Budapest.
I
grew up in a peaceful family, thanks to my parents even today I am very
patient and tolerant a person. I had been a member of Boyscouts for many
years, even today I can light a fire in rain ;) I like sports very much,
see below under "Hobbies"
When I was 10 my family moved to Vienna/ Austria and I spent 4 years there. I enjoyed this time very much, today I am grateful to have learned German so easily so good. A few years later I followed my father to Hamburg/Germany who was working there and was very bored being alone ;). However after only one year we came back to Budapest as we somehow could not build up a good relationship with the people living there... If you happen to be from Hamburg, don't take that too personally, I'm sure that YOU are okay ;)
I started my higher education at the University of Economics and Business Administration in Vienna (Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien - WU) in Sept. 1995. Besides studying I worked for the American company Andrew Wireless Ltd.. If you need some tips or any information how to survive in Vienna, send me a mail and I can help you -- I've spent 6 years there so I know what I talk about!
After 2 years studying in Vienna I decided to come back home to
Budapest once again :) Now I continue my economix studies at the German
Fernuni-Hagen
and hope to finish it in ~3,5 years... I still could not make a choice
between my two main interests economics and computers so I studied the first
and worked the latter.
I found a job at a bank as computer technican. Here
starts my "carreer" in the IT branche :) Still studying economics I
developed new skills in repairing computers and later maintaining networks.
Later I worked for Bosch in Budapest and
from 2001 in Stuttgart as System Engineer for both Linux
and Windows Server.
In 2003 I moved back to Budapest once again, worked for Pannon GSM as a group manager in IT Infrastructure Operations, which is just a more important sounding word for sysadmin. Since 2006 I work for Morgan Stanley in Budapest in Windows Operations - it seems that this field is what I'm really good at: operating Windows servers. At home I still have Linux on my own machine, don't worry.
